In 2025 I had a request to commission personalised letter art. 'A for Amelia ' was adorned with 7 dainty and beautiful New Zealand native botanicals for baby Amelia 's bedroom.
Soon followed the request for 3 daughters to have a New Zealand native bird paired with a New Zealand native plant. Maania (M) has Tui & Pohutukawa, Ngaire (N) has kiwi & ferns and Torin (T) has the Pukeko & Kawakawa.
Do you have an idea you would like to bring to life? It might be the first letter of your name adorned with your favourite flora/shells/or with a bird you like.
Maybe it's yours & your partners initials with each of your favourite NZ native flowers (perfect for anniversary gift).
It could be your favourite flower on it's own, whatever nature idea you can think of.
These were all illustrated on A4 bockingford cotton fibre watercolour paper.
Choose from A6, A5, A4. If you're looking to get A3 this is possible too, I will just need longer to work on it.
Right now I'm taking commission spots for January, February & March 2026.
An A4 commission takes approximately 2-3 weeks to complete depending on content and complexity of your chosen design.

I will reply with a quote and we can discuss details and expected timeline.
To confirm your commission spot, a 50% deposit is required, once paid a rough layout sketch is completed. Once placement is approved, we then moving on to actual sketch, at this point a few small changes and tweaks can be made. The paint stage is next, the exciting part!
You receive multiple progress updates at this stage until it's complete.
There is 7 days to send through the final 50% of the commission, and once it has been received, your beautiful commission is carefully packaged and will include a complimentary greeting card and bookmark, also included is your certificate of authenticity which includes the paper type of the original, materials used, paper size, date of completion, my name and signature and of course the name of the artwork.
I'm currently taking commission spots for January, February and March 2026- these spots are very limited.
